17 Plaintiff is a state prisoner proceeding without counsel in an action brought under 42 18 U.S.C. § 1983. On December 16, 2019, the court screened plaintiff’s complaint pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1915A. The court found service appropriate as to defendant Fields, and granted plaintiff thirty days to either return documents necessary to effect service of process on that defendant, or to file an amended complaint to cure the deficiencies identified in the other claims. ECF No. 8.

22 The order warned plaintiff that failure to comply would result in a recommendation that this action be dismissed. The time for acting has passed and plaintiff has not submitted the appropriate materials necessary for service or an amended complaint.

25 Accordingly, it is RECOMMENDED that this action be DISMISSED. Fed. R. Civ. P. 41(b); E. D. Cal. Local Rule 110.
