17 By order issued January 23, 2020, this court instructed plaintiff to complete and return to the court, within thirty days, the USM-285 forms necessary to effect service on defendants. See ECF No. 16. That thirty-day period has since passed, and plaintiff has not responded in any way to the court’s order.
21 It appears from the record that on February 20, 2020, plaintiff’s copy of the order was returned. However, plaintiff was properly served. It is the plaintiff’s responsibility to keep the court apprised of his current address at all times. Pursuant to Local Rule 182(f), service of documents at the record address of the party is fully effective.
25 Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Clerk of Court randomly assign a District Court Judge to this action.
