17 Plaintiff is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis in an action brought under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. On April 15, 2020, the court determined that plaintiff’s complaint had alleged, for screening purposes, a viable excessive force claim against defendant Sadler, but had not alleged any viable claims against defendant Anderson. ECF No. 17. The court informed plaintiff he could proceed with the viable claim only or file an amended complaint within 30 days. Id. Plaintiff has elected to proceed only with the viable claim against defendant Sadler.

24 Accordingly, IT IS RECOMMENDED that plaintiff’s claims against defendant Anderson be dismissed without prejudice.
