3 Before the Court is Richard Sepulveda’s motion for leave to file a first amended complaint

14 |] to add Itzel Reynoso, who 1s identified as the daughter of current defendant Martha Reynoso, as a

3 15 || defendant. Dkt. 11. Martha Reynoso has not filed an opposition (and her deadline to do so has © 16 |] passed) and the Court finds that justice would be served by allowing the proposed amendment.

17 || See Fed. R. Civ. P. 15(a)(2) (“The court should freely give leave [to amend] when justice so Z 18 || requires.”); Foman v. Davis,

(1962) (“In the absence of any apparent or 19 || declared reason .. . the leave sought should, as the rules require, be ‘freely given.’”). Sepulveda’s 20 || unopposed motion is therefore granted.
