17 Petitioner is a state prisoner without counsel seeking a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. On May 26, 2023, the court found that petitioner had failed to file an in forma pauperis application or pay the filing fee ($5.00) required by 28 U.S.C. §§ 1914(a) & 1915(a).

20 ECF No. 7. Accordingly, the court ordered petitioner to file an in forma pauperis application or pay the filing fee within 30 days. That order warned petitioner that failure to do so may result in this action being dismissed.

23 The 30-day period has expired and petitioner has not filed an in forma pauperis application, paid the filing fee, or otherwise responded to the court’s order.

25 Accordingly, it is ORDERED that the Clerk of the Court randomly assign a United States District Judge to this case.
