PER CURIAM.

We reverse the conviction and sentence and remand the case to the trial court for a new trial.

The trial court erred in failing to grant the defendant’s motion to suppress the tape recording on the grounds that the tape *61is inaudible. See Springer v. State, 429 So.2d 808 (Fla. 4th DCA 1983).

REVERSED AND REMANDED.
