This is an appeal from an adverse final summary judgment. We affirm because Florida Statute 222.13(1)(1993) clearly exempts life insurance proceeds from the claims of the insured’s creditors unless the insurance policy or a valid assignment thereof provides to the contrary. Where, as here, it is undisputed that no provision of the *339subject policy waived this statutory exemption nor was there any assignment of this policy, summary judgment was properly entered.
