Petitioner’s motion to take leave of court to extend rendition will be treated by this court as a response to the show cause order of December 8, 2011. The petition for writ of certiorari is dismissed as untimely. See Powell v. Florida Department *897of Corrections, 727 So.2d 1103 (Fla. 1st DCA 1999).
