Osborne v. State

Osborne v. State
Georgia Court of Appeals · Decided January 16, 1942 · MacIntyre, Broyles, Gardner
18 S.E.2d 511; 66 Ga. App. 544; 1942 Ga. App. LEXIS 217 (South Eastern Reporter, Second Series)

Osborne v. State

Opinion of the Court

MacIntyre, J.

The motion for new trial contains only the general grounds. The record discloses that the evidence for the State, if credible, was sufficient to support the verdict. The jury being the judges of the weight of the evidence, this court can not disturb the judgment refusing a new trial.

Judgment affirmed.

Broyles, O. J., and Gardner, J., concur.
