Georgia Court of Appeals, 1944

Hayes v. State

Hayes v. State
Georgia Court of Appeals · Decided November 3, 1944 · Gardner, Broyles, MacIntyre
32 S.E.2d 119; 71 Ga. App. 728; 1944 Ga. App. LEXIS 198 (South Eastern Reporter, Second Series)

Hayes v. State

Opinion of the Court

Gardner, J.

The defendant was convicted of the offense of assault with intent to murder. His motion for a new trial, on the general grounds only, was overruled, and he excepted. The evidence amply sustains the verdict, and the denial of a new trial was not error.

Judgment affirmed.

Broyles, O. J., and MacIntyre, J., concur.
