Life v. Secrest

Life v. Secrest
Indiana Supreme Court · Decided November 15, 1849
1 Smith & H. 319
Life v. Secrest

Opinion of the Court

Per Curiam.

— “We think the facts shown did not constitute a sufficient defence to the action. As a general rule, a tenant is es-topped from denying the title of his landlord, and there is nothing shown, in this case, which brings it within the exceptions which have been allowed.”

Judgment reversed, &c.
