State v. La Borde

Supreme Court of Louisiana
State v. La Borde, 234 La. 38 (La. 1958)
99 So. 2d 15; 1958 La. LEXIS 1077
McCaleb

State v. La Borde

Opinion of the Court

McCALEB, Justice.

We granted an alternative writ of mandamus in this case for the judge to show cause why he should not sign certain bills of exceptions perfected by the defendant herein. However, in view of our decision on defendant’s appeal, in which we have reversed his conviction and ordered him discharged (see 234 La. 28, 99 So.2d 11), this matter has become moot.

*39Accordingly, the rule to show cause is discharged and the proceedings dismissed.
