State v. George

Opinion of the Court

In re: State of Louisiana applying for writs of certiorari and prohibition.

Application denied. The ruling of the trial court is correct.

Dissenting Opinion

SUMMERS, J.,

dissents from the denial of writs. Failure of the defense to timely file the plea “not guilty by reason of insanity at the time of offense” precludes the raising of this issue at this late date. La.Code Crim.Proc. Art. 561.
