Bussie v. Long

Dissenting Opinion

CALOGERO, J.,

I dissent from refusal to grant this writ believing that the issues presented in this application are of such importance as to warrant review by the State’s highest court.

Opinion of the Court

In re: Blanche Revere Long, James R. Leake, Leo J. Theriot, and the Louisiana Tax Commission, applying for Certiorari, or Writ of Review, to the Court of Appeal, First Circuit, Parish of East Baton Rouge. 286 So.2d 689.

Writ refused. On the facts found by the Court of Appeal, there is no error of law in its judgment.

SUMMERS, J., is of the opinion that writ should be granted.
