State ex rel. Kingston v. Henderson
Opinion of the Court
In re: Eric J. Kingston applying for Writ of Certiorari and Habeas Corpus.
Writ denied. No showing made to warrant an evidentiary hearing. Colloquy at the time clearly shows guilty plea was freely and voluntarily entered.
Concurring Opinion
concurs in the denial. No hearing was held in the trial court; Nevertheless, the allegations that appointed counsel promised applicant 8-10 years if he pleaded guilty, instead of the IS years imposed, as expanded in the pleadings before us, would not warrant the relief requested.
