Supreme Court of Louisiana · Decided September 11, 1975

State ex rel. Briggs v. Henderson

Opinion of the Court

In re: Donald Briggs applying for Writs of Habeas Corpus, Certiorari, Prohibition and Mandamus.

Writ denied. The same factual defenses to commission of the offense have been rejected when urged by a previous writ application, see 302 So.2d 623 (La. 1974) and were apparently rejected by the jury at the trial on the merits, see 292 So.2d 238 (La. 1974). See also denial of habeas corpus April 10, 1975, U.S.Dist.Ct., W.D., La., 74-1202.
