State ex rel. Redd v. Henderson
Supreme Court of Louisiana · Decided June 15, 1976

State ex rel. Redd v. Henderson

Opinion of the Court

In re: Eugene Redd, applying for writ of habeas corpus.

Writ denied. Our review of the trial transcript convinces us that, whatever the legal merit of applicant’s complaint about an illegal and impermissibly suggestive lineup photographic identification, the witness (one of two positively identifying victim at the scene of the crime) had an independent basis for the in court identification of applicant at his trial.
