State v. Johnson

State v. Johnson
Supreme Court of Louisiana · Decided March 30, 1977
343 So. 2d 1072; 1977 La. LEXIS 6144 (Southern Reporter, Second Series)

State v. Johnson

Opinion of the Court

In re: Daniel Johnson applying for writ of review.

Not considered: The relator pleaded guilty on October 20, 1976. The matters *1073complained of, which occurred before the plea of guilty, do not appear to raise an issue for post-conviction relief. Nevertheless, this court does not ordinarily consider claims which are as here presented to this court without first affording the trial court an opportunity to pass upon them.
