Opinion of the Court

In Re: Christopher 0. Davis, applying for Application to Take the Louisiana State Bar Examination.

*1329Granted; pretermitting the question of the meaning of the words “resident alien” in our rules, the Bar Association is ordered to permit the applicant to take the bar examination in July, 1979.

Dissenting Opinion

SUMMERS, C. J.,

dissents and would adhere to the provisions of Article IV, Section 7(b-c) of the Articles of Incorporation of the Louisiana State Bar Association. This action of this court has the effect of a blatant disregard of the rules regulating admission to the Bar. This case-by-case action of the Court serves to minimize the effect of the rules governing admission to the bar.
