State ex rel. Jones v. St. Landry Parish District Court
Supreme Court of Louisiana · Decided July 2, 1979 · Summers
373 So. 2d 539; 1979 La. LEXIS 6816 (Southern Reporter, Second Series)

State ex rel. Jones v. St. Landry Parish District Court

Opinion of the Court

In re Willis W. Jones, Jr. applying for writ of habeas corpus. Parish of St. Landry.

Writ denied. Information concerning relator’s appeal will be furnished by the Clerk of this Court. Because relator has not first filed in the district court and because the trial judge on May 5, 1979 ordered relator furnished a transcript of the extradition hearing, which presumably will shortly be received by relator, further action on this application is not warranted.

SUMMERS, C. J., absent.
