State v. Manuel

State v. Manuel
Supreme Court of Louisiana · Decided October 8, 1979
376 So. 2d 321; 1979 La. LEXIS 6042 (Southern Reporter, Second Series)

State v. Manuel

Opinion of the Court

In re: Edward Manuel, applying for writs of certiorari, prohibition and mandamus, Parish of Calcasieu, No. 9737-77.

Writ denied. Assignments of error have no merit. However, the bill of information appears to be defective and should be amended to allege essential elements of the crime as set forth in statute. See State v. Edwards, 283 So.2d 231 (La. 1973).
