State v. Poser

State v. Poser
Supreme Court of Louisiana · Decided August 12, 1980 · Dennis, Dixon
386 So. 2d 919; 1980 La. LEXIS 8306 (Southern Reporter, Second Series)

State v. Poser

Opinion of the Court

In re Gary Poser, applying for writs of certiorari, prohibition, mandamus, and stay order. Parish of Orleans. Number 277-499.

Writ denied.

Concurring Opinion

DIXON, C. J.,

concurs in the denial because the application does not show enough facts to justify a reduction.

Dissenting Opinion

DENNIS, J.,

dissents. Relator has properly invoked the supervisory jurisdiction of this Court, and the testimony of record fully supports his claim that the trial court has improperly refused a reduction of bail to $10,000. C.Cr.P. Arts. 317, 322.
