State v. Lacour
Supreme Court of Louisiana · Decided March 4, 1982 · Appeal, Conviction, Event, Remedy, Watson

State v. Lacour

Opinion of the Court

In re Louis Lacour, applying for writs of certiorari, mandamus, prohibition and stay order. Orleans Parish.

Denied; the request for continuance is moot after the recess granted by the trial judge; the recess gives defendant the opportunity to file a motion for bill of particulars if needed, and allows the state time to answer the motion filed. Previous stay order recalled.

WATSON, J. would deny adequate remedy by appeal in the event of conviction.
