State v. Marsellus
Supreme Court of Louisiana · Decided September 16, 1987
511 So. 2d 1163; 1987 La. LEXIS 10060 (Southern Reporter, Second Series)

State v. Marsellus

Opinion of the Court

In re Marsellus, Howard; applying for writ of certiorari and/or review, supervisory and/or remedial writs; to the Court of Appeal, First Circuit, No. KW87 1295; Parish of East Baton Rouge, 19th Judicial District Court, Div. “A”, No. 9-86-764.

Granted. The ruling of the Court of Appeal is reversed and the ruling of the trial court is reinstated. There is no showing that the trial court abused its discretion in granting the alternative motion to sever.
