Cenac v. Cenac
Supreme Court of Louisiana · Decided November 6, 1987 · Cole, Deny, Dixon, Lemmon, Writ
514 So. 2d 115; 1987 La. LEXIS 10476 (Southern Reporter, Second Series)

Cenac v. Cenac

Opinion of the Court

In re: Cenac, Christopher E. Sr.; Applying for Writ of Certiorari and/or Review, Writ of Mandamus, Supervisory and/or Remedial Writs; Parish of Terrebonne 32nd Judicial District Court Div. “A” Number 74,874; to the Court of Appeal, First Circuit, Number CW87 1399.

The order of the district court is stayed until the Court of Appeal reviews the order.

Concurring Opinion

LEMMON, J.,

concurs. The judgment is apparently not appealable. The Court of Appeal should treat the appeal as an application for supervisory writs and proceed to review the merits of the application.

DIXON, C.J., and COLE, J., would deny the writ.
