Neil v. Teledyne Movible Offshore, Inc.

Opinion of the Court

In Re TELEDYNE MOVIBLE OFFSHORE, INC., applying for Supervisory and/or Remedial Writ, to the 32nd Judicial District Court, Parish of Terrebonne, First Circuit Court of Appeal, Number CW88 1038, Div. B.

DENIED.

LEMMON, J., concurs.

Concurring Opinion

LEMMON, Justice,

concurring.

I voted to grant a rehearing in Kellis v. Farber, 523 So.2d 843 (La. 1988), to consider whether the Legislature intended to allow a plaintiff to obtain venue in his own domicile by the simple expedient of joining his own uninsured motorist carrier in the action, irrespective of the merits of doing so. That issue is not presented in this case.

MARCUS and COLE, JJ., would grant the writ.
