Supreme Court of Louisiana · Decided January 15, 1993 · Calogero, Election, Grant, Lemmon, Ortique, Stay, Watson

Ransome v. Secretary of State ex rel. State

Opinion of the Court

In re KAREN THOMAS; — Plaintiff(s); applying for reconsideration of an Order of this Court dated January 14, 1993, 610 So.2d 805; Parish of Livingston, 21st Judicial District Court, Div. “F”, Nos. 67,710, 67,728; to the Court of Appeal, First Circuit, No. 93CW 0031.

Reconsideration denied.

Concurring Opinion

LEMMON, J.,

concurs in the denial. Relator’s recourse is to attack the election (if the issue passes) in the event that the license is ultimately determined to be invalid.

WATSON and ORTIQUE, JJ., would grant and stay the election. CALOGERO, C.J., not on panel.
