PER CURIAM.*

After conducting an independent review of the record and considering the remarks of counsel during oral argument, we conclude that the judgments below do not require the exercise of our supervisory authority. See La.S.Ct. Rule X, Sec. 1. Accordingly, we recall our order in State ex rel. Wise v. State, 97-2511 (La.5/8/98), 718 So.2d 422, as improvidently granted.
