Connor v. Harrington

Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court
Connor v. Harrington, 362 Mass. 887 (Mass. 1972)

Connor v. Harrington

Opinion of the Court

In each of these two actions the plaintiff’s declaration alleges that the defendant made defamatory statements about her. A Superior Court judge sustained the demurrers of the defendants as to all counts in both declarations, and the plaintiff appealed. The plaintiff did not move for leave to amend the declarations. There was no error. Each of the counts in both declarations failed to state a cause of action.

Orders sustaining demurrers affirmed.

Judgments for the defendants.
