State v. Bartlett
Supreme Judicial Court of Maine
State v. Bartlett, 53 Me. 446 (Me. 1866)
Appleton, Barrows, Danforth, Dickerson, Kent, Walton
State v. Bartlett
Opinion of the Court
The defendants are jointly indicted for the crime of adultery. They demur to the indictment for that cause. The law is well settled that the parties to this crime may be jointly indicted. Com. v. Ellwell & al. 2 Met., 190. Demurrer overruled.
