STATE OF MINNESOTA IN SUPREME COURT A20-1017 DSCC, et al., Respondents, vs. Steve Simon, in his official capacity as Minnesota Secretary of State, Defendant, Republican Party of Minnesota, et al., Appellants. ORDER In an order filed on August 13, 2020, we granted appellants' petition for accelerated review. Oral argument in this appeal is scheduled for September 3, 2020. On August 17, 2020, appellants filed a motion to stay the district court's temporary injunction during the appeal. Appellants ask this court to consider this motion on an emergency basis. Based upon all the files, records, and proceedings herein, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that respondents DSCC, et al., must serve and file a response to the emergency motion for a stay on or before August 20, 2020. Any response by the Minnesota Secretary of State must also be filed and served on or before August 20, 2020. No further briefs in support of the emergency motion shall be filed.
