State v. Williams

Supreme Court of North Carolina
State v. Williams, 247 N.C. 272 (N.C. 1957)
100 S.E.2d 500; 1957 N.C. LEXIS 669

State v. Williams

Opinion of the Court

Per Curiam.

G.S. 14-177 includes the particular act of perversion charged in the bill of indictment. S. v. Griffin, 175 N.C. 767, 94 S.E. 678. Plenary evidence supports the charge. It would serve no needful purpose to discuss the unnatural and depraved conduct to which the evidence relates.

Each of defendant’s assignments of error has been carefully considered. None discloses error of law affording a sufficient basis for the award of a new trial.

No error.
