ORDER OF AFFIRMANCE This is a pro se appeal from a district court order denying a motion to correct an illegal sentence. 1 Second Judicial District Court, Washoe County; Jerome M. Polaha, Judge.

In his motion filed on July 18, 2018, appellant claimed that the offense of kidnapping was a necessary and lesser included offense of murder and therefore his sentence for kidnapping was illegal. Appellant's claims fell outside the narrow scope of claims permissible in a motion to modify or correct an illegal sentence. See Edwards v. State, 112 Nev. 704, 708, 918 P.2d 321, 324 (1996).
