People v. Knettel
Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York · Decided June 14, 1948
274 A.D. 806; 79 N.Y.S.2d 652; 1948 N.Y. App. Div. LEXIS 3442
People v. Knettel

Opinion of the Court

Judgment of the County Court of Nassau County, convicting defendant of the crime of receiving stolen goods and sentencing him to imprisonment in the county jail for a period of one year, modified on the facts by reducing the term of the imprisonment to the time already served. As thus modified, the judgment is unanimously affirmed. In our opinion, the sentence imposed was too severe. Present— Lewis, P. J., Carswell, Johnston, Adel and Sneed, JJ.
