People v. Mas
Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York · Decided April 29, 1985
110 A.D.2d 915; 488 N.Y.S.2d 261; 1985 N.Y. App. Div. LEXIS 48820
People v. Mas

Opinion of the Court

*916Defendant’s confession, made after his companion made a statement implicating defendant in a prior robbery, was so attenuated as to dissipate any taint which might have resulted from his arrest (see, Brown v Illinois, 422 US 590; People v Calhoun, 78 AD2d 658). Lazer, J. P., O’Connor, Weinstein and Brown, JJ., concur.
