Appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court (Hughes, J.), entered January 24, 1992 in Albany County, which dismissed petitioner’s application, in a proceeding pursuant to CPLR article 70, after a hearing.
The scope of collateral review by a court hearing a habeas corpus petition concerning the grant or denial of a bail application is quite narrow and is concerned only with whether the court abused its discretion pursuant to CPL 510.30 or violated a constitutional standard prohibiting excessive bail or its arbitrary refusal (People ex rel.
