Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York · Decided May 20, 1996
227 A.D.2d 577; 643 N.Y.S.2d 381; 1996 N.Y. App. Div. LEXIS 5351
People ex rel. Selin v. Warden of the George Motchan Detention Center

Opinion of the Court

Writ of habeas corpus in the nature of an application for bail reduction upon Kings County Indictment No. 2835/96, or, in the alternative, to release the defendant on his own recognizance.

Adjudged that the writ is dismissed, without costs or disbursements.

The determination of the Supreme Court, Kings County, was not an improvident exercise of discretion, and did not violate "constitutional or statutory standards” (People ex rel. Klein v Kruger, 25 NY2d 497, 499; see, People ex rel. Rosenthal v Wolf-son, 48 NY2d 230). Mangano, P. J., Rosenblatt, Pizzuto and Hart, JJ., concur.
