Opinion of the Court

Supreme Court, New York County (Charles H. Solomon, J.), rendered April 19, 2006, resentencing defendant, upon his conviction of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, to a term of 4x/2 years, unanimously affirmed.

Pursuant to the Drug Law Reform Act, the court reduced defendant’s sentence from five years to life to 4x/2 years, and we perceive no basis for a further reduction. Concur—Friedman, J.P., Marlow, Nardelli, Buckley and Kavanagh, JJ.
