APPELLATE REVIEW:

When a common pleas court judge denies an affidavit of disqualification pursuant to R.C. 2937.20, an appellate court must affirm the denial unless the judicial discretion exercised by the court was to an end or purpose wholly unjustified by and clearly against reason and evidence.
