McDivit v. State

By the Court:

In an indictment which charges that the accused “ unlawfully and feloniously did steal money of the amount and value of fifty-five dollars, the property of,” etc., the property stolen is sufficiently described, under section 100 of the code of criminal procedure, although the indictment does not show what kind of money is charged to have been stolen, or that it was issued by lawful authority, or that if was intended to pass or circulate as money.

Motion overruled.
