An act passed April 12, 1876 (73 Ohio L. 321), to prevent gambling and the sale of intoxicating *664liquors “ on or within a distance of two miles of Chippewa Lake, in the county of Medina,” is in contravention of section 26, article 2, of the constitution of this state, which ordains that “ all laws of a general nature shall have a uniform operation throughout the state,” and is consequently void.
