James v. State

Opinion of the Court

PER CURIAM.

Appellant was convicted of murder in the district court of MeCurtain county and sentenced to imprisonment in the state penitentiary for the period of his natural life. Since perfecting his appeal in this case appellant applied to and received from the Governor of this state a parole. This operated as an abandonment of his appeal. The appeal is therefore dismissed.
