The “petition for assembly,” which we construe to be an original proceeding for post-conviction habeas corpus relief,1 is dismissed for lack of jurisdiction.2 See TEX. App.—Texarkana 2005, orig. proceeding) (intermediate court of appeals has no jurisdiction over post-conviction writs of habeas corpus in felony cases); see also TEX. CODE CRIM. PROC. ANN. art. 55.02, §§ 1, 1a(a) (West Supp. 2011) (providing for filing of expunction petition in district court); id. art. 64.01(a-1) (West Supp. 2011) (providing for filing of motion for DNA testing in convicting court); TEX.
