Martinez, Justice On June 15, 2018, relator filed a pro se petition for writ of mandamus and a motion for leave to file the petition for writ of mandamus. Relator is not required to seek leave of court to file a petition for writ of mandamus. Therefore, the motion for leave is DENIED AS MOOT. The court has considered the petition for writ of mandamus and is of the opinion that relator is not entitled to the relief sought. Accordingly, the petition for writ of mandamus is DENIED. See TEX. R. APP. P. 52.8(a). The court’s opinion will issue at a later date.
