2 Opinion of the Court 24-10715 ____________________ Before JILL PRYOR, BRANCH, and BLACK, Circuit Judges.
PER CURIAM: Thomas Martele Goggans, appointed counsel for Garrett Williams in this direct criminal appeal, has moved to withdraw from further representation of the appellant and filed a brief pursu- ant to Anders v. California, 386 U.S. 738 (1967). Our independent review of the record reveals that counsel’s assessment of the rela- tive merit of the appeal is correct. Because independent examina- tion of the record reveals no arguable issues of merit, counsel’s mo- tion to withdraw is GRANTED, and Williams’ convictions and sentence are AFFIRMED.
