USCA11 Case: 22-13632 Document: 54-1 Date Filed: 08/17/2026 Page: 2 of 3 2 Opinion of the Court 22-13632
Plaintiff-Appellant Vinitha Robinson appeals the district court’s grant of summary judgment to Phillip Sutton and Ha- bersham County, Georgia, on her claim alleging race discrimina- tion in violation of Title VII. 1
We have considered all arguments raised on appeal by Rob- inson, including that:
I. The district court erred in granting the defendants summary judgment based on its findings that Robin- son’s proposed comparators were not, in fact, simi- larly situated and that no evidence indicated that the reasons given for refusing Robinson a raise and title change were pretextual.
II. Robinson presented enough circumstantial evidence to provide a “convincing mosaic” of discrimination sufficient to survive summary judgment.
III. The district court abused its discretion by failing to strike Sutton’s submitted declaration because it con- tradicted his deposition testimony.
After careful consideration of the record and the parties’ briefs, and with the benefit of oral argument, we find no reversible error in the district court’s proceedings. Accordingly, we affirm. 1 Robinson has been superbly represented on appeal by Jason Carlton and Madeline Martin, both students in the Appellate Advocacy Clinic at the Uni- versity of Alabama School of Law. We thank Mr. Carlton and Ms. Martin for their service, not only to their client but also to the Court.
