USCA4 Appeal: 22-6931 Doc: 12 Filed: 08/11/2023 Pg: 2 of 2

PER CURIAM: Phillip Jazir Thompson appeals the district court’s order denying his motion for compassionate release. We have reviewed the record and discern no abuse of discretion by the district court. See United States v. Kibble, 992 F.3d 326, 329 (4th Cir. 2021) (stating standard of review for compassionate release motions). Accordingly, we affirm the district court’s order. United States v. Thompson, No. 3:17-cr-00094-HEH-1 (E.D. Va. July 29, 2022). We dispense with oral argument because the facts and legal contentions are adequately presented in the materials before this court and argument would not aid the decisional process.
