UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS FOR THE FOURTH CIRCUIT

No. 25-1806

In re: JOSIE H. LANTRY,

Petitioner.

On Petition for Writ of Mandamus to the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia, at Roanoke. (7:24-cv-00433-RSB-PMS)

Submitted: August 26, 2025 Decided: November 25, 2025

Before WILKINSON, HEYTENS, and BENJAMIN, Circuit Judges.

Petition denied by unpublished per curiam opinion.

Josie H. Lantry, Petitioner Pro Se.

Unpublished opinions are not binding precedent in this circuit. USCA4 Appeal: 25-1806 Doc: 17 Filed: 11/25/2025 Pg: 2 of 2

PER CURIAM:

Josie H. Lantry petitions for a writ of mandamus, alleging that the district court has

unduly delayed acting on his civil action. He seeks an order from this court directing the

district court to act. Our review of the district court’s docket reveals that the district court

recently entered a final order dismissing Lantry’s civil action. Accordingly, we deny the

mandamus petition as moot. We dispense with oral argument because the facts and legal

contentions are adequately presented in the materials before this court and argument would

not aid the decisional process.
