PER CURIAM:* The defendant appeals his sentence for illegal reentry of a criminal alien, a violation of 8 U.S.C. § 1326(a) and (b)(1). We have reviewed the record and the briefs and we find no abuse of discretion on the part of the district court. See United States v. Ashburn, 38 F.3d 803, 807 (5th Cir. 1994)(en banc), cert. denied, 115 S. Ct. 1969 (1995).

AFFIRMED.
